The agency staff where I purchased my ticket were rude and disrespectful. They changed my ticket's expiration date after I left their office without letting me know. When I contacted the customer support they responded dismissively and biased. They didn't even respond in a timely fashion. Finally when I asked the issue to be escalated to their managers they completely ignored me. I definitely do not recommend traveling with them.

Horrible experience and loss of items from checked luggages. Never gonna travel again with qatar airlines.

qatar airways is so incompetent i swear to god i had to cancel my flight bcoz of their fault,before i pack my things i called one of their numbers to confirm the baggage allowance,the agent i spoke to said i am allowed 40kg,and when i went to the airport i am only allowed 23kg,they want me to pay BD187 extra for their mistake?!where on earth i will get BD187 to pay them,im just a low paying employee.they should be held liable for this,im not gonna let them pass.

Do NOT use Qatar airlines. They attempted to charge me about $300 in excess baggage kilos. I was told to take some out of my luggage or pay! OMG, I have never in my life encountered something like this. I was leaving KTM to IST (transiting thru Doha). Doha is horrible! What a joke to force people into Doha, the Arab capital. They want you to pay their $125 hotel to leave the airport when the hotels are not worth it. I was told by their attendants that don't worry we'll get you in a quiet room to sleep. I had arrived into Doha at 2AM and my flight was at 2PM, 12 hour delay !! This is outrageous to make people wait so long. Then to compensate them with those nasty greasy cardboard fries that made me so ill I had diarrhea by the time I left I was SO SICK and I suffered on the 5 hour flight into Istanbul. Once in IST I went to the hospital which charged me over $300. Qatar's staff don't speak English nor do they understand. They shouted out loud for everyone to hear in the plane so that the other passengers could know my situation. HOW embarrassing, yet they did nothing for me. I asked them to call for a doctor and when they finally did that was of no help because we were supposedly 5 min to landing. Which was a lie. I will NEVER fly on Qatar again.

How answers all this questions don't they have a customer support personnel who would respond to all the queries. For an Airline like Qatar to be so low on customer support leaves alot to be desired. That said, the some of the staff are very professional but some OMG need not work there, whatever image they are selling is definitely not customer service

To start my holiday i also booked an executive lounge, however the lounge provider has pulled out of its lease agreement and my booking was cancelled. On my last trip I was 2.5 kg over per person, 2 adults, 2 children and was charged 433 UK pounds. Amazing. This is what would expect from a budget airline not a 5 Star Airline Dont believe the hype and advertising,Qatar airlines is not a 5 Star Airline Next time I will fly Emirates, they are much better airline and also offer more baggage allowance. I just had an experience where I had to pay extra where my wife had called the airline before and they said 2 pcs 23 kgs but it was 23 kgs in total not per piece. Also they mistakenly booked my flight wrongly when I wanted to make a change. 5 stars no way.... CX and SQ is 100 times better
