Chaos inside Heathrow Terminal 3

 

This is the scene from Heathrow airport terminal 3 at the Air Canada and Japan Airlines check in areas.

People were left standing in line to check in for over 5 hours and some people had been stuck in the airport for up to 48 hours. When flights were cancelled, announcements literally said "Your flight has been cancelled, please leave the terminal immediately to avoid overcrowding..." No other information was forthcoming & the staff weren't informed at all.
