I had the pleasure of flying to this airport and I mean this in the most sarcastic way possible. Never have I seen an airport this poorly designed (an adventurous flight to Djibouti airport provided more comfort and service than this place). Despite the fact that this is a brand new airport delays are more the rule than the exception. I have yet to see a flight leave on time that is not delayed due to weather conditions even on a day in June, 33 degrees clear skies, this airport manages to have all incoming flights delayed and a 70% delay on out-bound flights. At the new airport itself nothing is arranged properly, my wife wanted to use the special baby nursing room to nurse our 4 month old baby only to find is used by 5 40 year old guys smoking and playing card games and 3 more sleeping in the corner. Facilities are far and few and generally are discusingly dirty. Travel only to Nanchang if you really have to, this place and it's airport are not worth your expense or time
